The Warmth of Friendship in a Winter Wonderland
Snow usually slows things down. That day it brought us together.
Members from MAC and GGN shared a full day of winter activities that mixed joy, challenge, and teamwork.
Morning sledding: speed and laughter
The first run down the slope changed the room energy immediately.
Everyone who joined the run felt the same childlike joy: cold air, cheering, and spontaneous play.
Midday lesson: ice fishing
The ice-fishing session required patience and curiosity.
Many participants were trying it for the first time. Even with few fish caught, the shared effort created respect for Korea’s seasonal traditions and local lifestyles.
Ending warmly
By late afternoon we moved to a cozy café for hot drinks and sweet-and-sour pork.
Conversations grew slower and deeper as comfort returned after movement.
Why this day mattered
The day proved that seasons may change the activities, but not the mission: create places where people can belong, laugh, and care in practical, low-pressure ways.
